About Elizabeth Chupa, LISW-S
Elizabeth is a Licensed Independent Social Worker Supervisor (LISW-S) practicing in the Cleveland area. She earned a Master of Social Work degree at The Ohio State University and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Cincinnati. She is currently a Court Appointed Special Advocate in Lorain county and a Member of NASW.
Elizabeth has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families of diverse patient populations. She has previously worked in the inpatient psychiatric setting as well as community based mental health providing an individualized treatment approach.
Areas of focus in practice include but are not limited to depression, anxiety, transitional age youth, child welfare, women’s issues and family dynamics. Elizabeth uses an eclectic approach incorporating trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, solution-focused, and mindfulness modalities. Elizabeth works collaboratively with individuals to pursue their personal goals and achieve overall wellness.
